WE CONTINUE OUR LIVE TEAM COVERAGE FROM TUSCALOOSA WITH CBS 42 NEWS REPORTER STEPHON DINGLE. STEPHON, THANKFULLY NONE OF THE HOSTAGES WERE HURT. THAT’S RIGHT – A HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF FROM FAMILY MEMBERS OF THESE HOSTAGE VICTIMS – AFTER A MORNING OF CHAOS. ALMOST TWO DOZEN FAMILY MEMBERS GATHERED IN THE BRYANT CONFERENCE CENTER WAITING AT LENGTH FOR THEIR LOVED ONES WHO FOR HOURS WERE STILL BEING QUESTIONED BY POLICE AT THE CREDIT UNION – I SPOKE WITH A SISTER IN LAW OF ONE OF THE HOSTAGE VICTIMS WHO DESCRIBED WHERE SHE WAS WHEN SHE FOUND OUT THIS MORNING. “I heard it on the radio, I heard paul w Bryant, I was just like, I turned the radio up and I just immediately tried to call her and then she wouldn’t pick up her phone, so then I knew it had to have been her because she wasn’t picking up her phone and then I called my brother and he was 2 hours away at work trying to get there so I tried not to cry when I was on the phone with him so I could be strong for him” GABRIELLE BENNETT GOING ON TO SAY THAT IT WAS NOTHING BUT AN ACT OF GOD THAT NO ONE WAS HURT OR KILLED – ALLOWING THEM TO BE REUNITED WITH THEIR FAMILY.
