As the economy upturns, the
financial industry may want to evaluate what competitors are
doing, whether they are entering or exiting
various channels. You may indeed want to take
cues from some of your competitors, if they’re
very closely aligned. But it may also be important
to do quite the opposite, enter various channels that some
of your competitors may be exiting at the moment, so
that you can take advantage of the space that is now available,
so you get a much bigger share of voice
at that time.
